The setting of the hotel was amazing, with beautiful views of the lake. the staff was really friendly and gave us useful recommendations for activities nearby. the breakfast was a wonderful vegetarian selection and the cakes were delicious.
The room we had was quite small and the heating didn't work properly during a chilly night. the TV had only five channels and an old-fashioned remote control.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the charming town of Hahnenklee. The best aspects of my stay were the stunning mountain views from my room and the delicious homemade cakes offered for breakfast. The hotel was located in a quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. I also enjoyed the opportunity to visit nearby towns and take in the beautiful scenery during my city break.
One of the worst aspects of my stay was the limited reception hours, which made it difficult to contact staff at short notice. Additionally, the check-out time of 10 a.m. was quite early, making it challenging to pack up and depart in time. Despite these minor inconveniences, overall my experience was positive and I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Hahnenklee.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the beautiful Harz Mountain region. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a nice view of the lake. The staff were friendly and provided a very warm welcome, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect, right by the lake and within walking distance of various restaurants. The basic breakfast was satisfying, with delicious rolls and a boiled egg. it was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay here again.
The shower grouting in the bathroom could use some improvement, but overall, everything was spotlessly clean.
